Through a heavily iterative process, the petite lounger’s final form mirrors the fluidity presented in a traditional chaise lounge, yet further pushes the standard through exaggeration of contours. The chair ultimately blurs the line between functional interior object and art form. This project introduced me to wood working - which has become a huge personal interest of mine. I’m so glad I took this studio as it opened my eyes to the world
